HIL Training

We help create a workplace environment where individuals feel safe and supported

We believe that a safe, supported environment is necessary in order for employees to bring their most collaborative, creative, and authentic selves. Not only do individuals feel more engaged, but organizations thrive with retention, innovation, and better performance.

To achieve this goal, we focus on targeted learning paths and exercises founded in the principles of improvisational theater. We use this approach so that participants will directly experience skill development in such a way that it becomes embedded in the way that they work. Understanding does not always lead to behavior change- experience is key.

It’s a winning, fun way to shift mindsets and promote positive behavioral change that has an impact on the team and organization.

Elizabeth Hodos, Founder

For the past 17 years, Elizabeth has been performing improvisational comedy all over North America in many different theaters, festivals, and showcases. She has studied at The Second City, iO Improv, The Annoyance Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC).

Elizabeth spent over 12 years in sales and marketing at Fortune 500 companies. She saw firsthand how an active approach to developing quick-thinking, flexibility, authentic voice, and many other interpersonal skills can be the difference between average and high performance.

She loves sharing how applying the basic principles of improvisation can transform your career and life. It has shaped hers (she met her husband while improvising), and she’s excited to see it transform individuals, teams, and organizations.
